Lucky Tiger birthed by Pig, thats enough to make a cat laugh!
Although sounding ridiculously silly, as you can see in today's picture, sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction. Take today's title as an example. I know baby Wild Hogs have stripes but they are hardly Tigers. However, when the rise and fall of energy known as five elements is plotted in Chinese astrology, the Tigers element of wood is said to be born in a Pig month.
Such is the case on this Metal Tiger day and anyone born today will be considered timely and may be lucky as a result. They should be healthy and strong, although this would depend on the rest of their horoscope and could be particular blessed with money. Of course you could order a professional astrology reading and cover every eventuality.
As you would probably expect there is a special combination between Tiger and Pig and this makes it a lucky day for all of us. The Chinese almanac recommends travelling, getting married, having an astrology reading, opening a business or trading, moving earth, fixing a roof, or setting up a tombstone.

“Ambush” a Tiger team or “streak” back to 2010 to find your future!
What? I know, this title is going to take some explaining but it matches todays remarkability. Today is a Metal Tiger day, which combines with the annual Rabbit sign and the new month sign of Dragon, tripling its potency? It’s almost like having a team of tigers with you, a collection of which is known as an “ambush” or ”streak”. That also fits, as the extremely strong wood element created by this triple combination of Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon can be soft and gentle or enraged and furious. Expect to see these two sides manifest today.
Another interesting aspect is Metal Tiger was the energy of 2010, so if that was a worthy year today should also be good. If it wasn’t great, then either stay in bed, or try not to make the same mistakes again. Following this trend tomorrow is the same energy as the year and that can give you a glimpse of what is ahead. This holds true for Thursday, which has the same qi as 2012, so in a week you can get a feel for your destiny.
If you have a Tiger in you chart then you can expect a remarkable day, either really good or surprisingly bad,! Do not worry as this can be offset by wearing warm colours or acting pre-emptive to any problem. Contrary to popular belief, you actually have four animals in your Chinese horoscope not just one. Yellow being an earth element colour fits nicely for the title on this Earth Tiger day. If you have an Earth Tiger in your horoscope your body controls your mind and your qi may be blocked as a result. The fire element is needed to balance and rid you of all of the confusion from people misunderstanding your interests and intentions. This can be found by taking action in your life and not putting things off, also wearing warm colours, eating spicy food or sleeping with your head in the south.
