White Rabbit day
In common with Alice’s adventures we have good and bad times and this Metal Rabbit day partly clashes with the month of Rooster. That is until 17:26 Beijing time when a new month of Fire Dog begins. Until that time it may be tough for Rabbit and Rooster signs and bit could benefit from the water element or having Pig or Rat friends or colleagues. These can offer good support and advice as they are associated with in general with wisdom and are especially useful today.
Being a fire month Snake and Horses will do well today and should have a very powerful month ahead. it is a good time for promotion and expression or creativity. Earth signs of Sheep, Ox will feel vibrant as will Dog signs who should be at the centre of attention. Whilst Dragon signs are clashed for the month and need to be careful of their shoulder or chest. Monkey and Rooster signs perhaps fare best of all this month as they have both power and the right type of support or assistance to reduce stress. Females of this signs can also be lucky in love.

Two sides of the same Coney?
Forgive the pun in our title, buts it’s highly appropriate being a Metal Rabbit day in a Rabbit month. The feng shui almanac suggests that on one side it’s a good day for good quiet reflection and honouring ancestors, whilst on the other, travelling, seeing friends and trading are highly favoured.
Astrologically speaking today is good for the Pig who along with Rat signs is expressive and creative and can see their plans develop. They may also receive opportunities to travel.
Rabbits get helps from friends, whilst the Tiger can develop rapidly due to great support.
Our Earth signs of Dragon, Goat, Dog and Ox should feel powerful, although if pressurised they should wear warm colours.
Female earth signs are also lucky in love today. Males would have to have the metal element of Monkey or Rooster to have similar luck. Snake and Horse signs may feel energetic and are in a good position to receive helpful advice.

Take the Tiger test or get it in the Neck?
The title of our blog would normally tell you something about today’s major influences and whether you’ll be lucky or not. However without a Tiger test it’s impossible for us to say whether it’s good for you or not.
This is due to today being a Metal Rabbit day, which reacts with the Annual Dragon sign. Now the test part; if you have a Tiger in your Chinese horoscope, you will complete this special combination and good or bad, it could be a day you won’t forget for some time.
Generally, this potentially huge wood influence creates great kindness or incredible anger. However, in your personal horoscope, wood can also mean great opportunities for wealth, support, inspiration, recognition or conversely, angst, frustration and health problems. Of course, regardless of your Chinese animal sign, you could order a professional astrology reading and we will tell you this and so much more. Alternatively, a cheaper way to determine your luck is to first get a free Chinese horoscope to see if you have a Tiger. “In the neck” is a negative term but today's allusion to Neck refers to the Lunar Mansion, where it’s only half bad. It’s not good for drilling a well, so the Rabbit will have to find another hole?

Well broken Rabbit?
A bizarre title if ever I heard one but it literally sums up today's influences. Consequently, I hope that our Rabbits found “wonderland” hinted at in yesterday’s blog entitled “Through the rabbit hole?” as today may have the opposite effect.
Literally following the order of today's title, it is a “Well” day in the 28 Lunar Mansions making it a great day for education. However, unless you want to learn from your mistakes, it is best to make all serious decisions tomorrow.
In the 12 stations it is also a “Broken” day, suitable only for taking things apart and redecorating or redesigning.
Finally it is a Metal Rabbit day which clashes with the month sign of Rooster in what is known as a “day break”. This can cause a lot of stress and confusion for Rabbits and is best settled with the water element, such as communication, wearing black or dark blue colours, eating salty flavours, or being by or in water. As I look outside my window it is STILL raining, so that supports most of the bunnies in the UK. What is it like at your end?

Cottontail collects carats in annual celebration
That’s not a title you come across every day, so let’s explain the first part. Cottontail is another name for….. Rabbit and carats are used to define the quality of gold, which is of course, a Metal. So today must be a Metal Rabbit day. As this happens to be the same energy as the year, we can celebrate this pairing or collection accordingly.
The Chinese almanac recommends today should begin by taking a course or at least a lesson, so I thought I would begin the blog in the same way. It further suggests sharing the celebrations by visiting friends, having a haircut, travelling, getting engaged or married, exchanging gifts, having an astrology reading, emigrating, opening a business and trading, refurbishing a home or office, moving earth, fixing a roof, hunting, or setting up a tombstone.

Pull a Rabbit out of the Hen hut?
Strange title I know, but then strange times are the order of this Metal Rabbit day. Even though we are in a Metal Rabbit year, the current month of Rooster has the strongest influence.
This clash with the Rabbit is known as a “year break” and usually denotes difficulties, confusion and break ups. I tried to sum up these effects and plucked today's title out of thin air whilst mentioning a Rabbit in a Roosters abode,
The Chinese almanac suggests todays only suitable activities is taking things apart or fixing walls and paths.
Tomorrow is a much better day all round, a Water Dragon day, so all important decisions should be made tomorrow instead of today.

Today is a White Rabbit day, although it is officially called a Metal Rabbit, it’s still a White Rabbit day in a White Rabbit year. Wow, that’s a lot of bunnies, but as in the nature of Rabbits, get a couple and before you know it there is an abundance or “drove” of them.
When you think of Alice’s White Rabbit, perhaps you automatically think of the large watch he carried and that is appropriate for today. In fact, as it is an “annual day”, that is when the same qi is in the day and year, getting your timing right today; or this year can bring plentiful results. Get it wrong and although not a case of “ off with their head” , it will probably feel like “It takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that.” -The Red Queen
Naturally we would want to avoid wasting our energy pointlessly and following your inner instincts will guide you to do the right things at the right time. Of course, sometimes you may feel like “I can’t explain myself, I’m afraid, Sir, because I’m not myself, you see.” –Alice. In that case, we can call upon the book of nature or Chinese almanac for daily inspiration.

As yesterday had the same energy as this year, today’s Metal Rabbit has the same qi as next year. It therefore provides a glimpse into 2011 and how you will fare. It also starts a new month of Rat so Horse signs will find it “interesting”, and a new 15 day season, which will come as no surprise to our Scottish brethren as it is called “Big Snow”.
