Cash Cow collects Coin whilst Catching Chicken of the C!
Among the many talents that today’s Metal Ox has, this level of multitasking may be just too much. Mind you their highly analytical mind, fine attention to detail and excellent planning ability can show others how to easily achieve these goals. Here is how they do it:
A major talent of those born on a Metal Ox day is that they can be highly prosperous or their spouses can be very lucky with money, especially between the ages of 30 – 46 years. The remaining title tasks come from the Chinese almanac or book of nature which lists today’s best or most favourable activities. Naturally these include collecting debts and fishing. I almost wrote this as “catching Choona” but decided to ease back into our return by referring to Tuna as the US fish and seafood brand - Chicken of the Sea. “C” was much more in keeping with our captions consecutive collectivity. This doesn’t mean that tomorrow’s title will have mostly D’s though!
Returning to today’s best pursuits which include meditation, buying or making clothes, refurbishing a room or hunting. It advises against making wine, preserves or sauces.

On the straight and narrow until the cows come home?
Today is a Metal Ox day in Chinese astrology and an Even day in the Jian Chu system. Hence the only recommendations made by the Chinese almanac are to meditate and thank your ancestors, or level paths and fix walls and that’s how we arrived at half of today's title. The rest comes from the Ox being the storage or resting place of today's Metal element, which I have taken as the home.

And the cow jumped over the moon……
Astrologically there is a lot going on at the moment, as this Metal Ox day, will see a full moon eclipsed tonight, just a week away from the summer solstice – the high point of nature. In trying to find a title that encompassed all these phenomena i arrived at this line from an English nursery rhyme. Well, it mentions moon, and cow is another name for ox.
You may think this is somewhat shallow of us and not up to our normal standard. However when you consider that the origins of this rhyme may refer to Hathor the Ancient Egyptian goddess who personified the principles of love, beauty, fertility and joy, this would seem perfectly appropriate, wouldn’t it?
If Metal Ox is part of your horoscope and particularly if it is your day pillar then you are highly resourceful and well-liked by others. With great determination and drive you can easily express yourself and cope well under pressure, this helps you create abundance and prosperity, especially if you were born between January 6 and February 4. Little white bull day?
It seems we can explain away today’s Metal Ox day in a couple of ways; firstly we associate the elements colour white with purity and by extension holiness. Secondly this metal element is associated with miniature scale objects. Finally, Ox being another name for Bull hence “Little white bull”!
Dog, Pig and Rat signs are supported today as the former see their plans develop, whilst the latter water signs are made vibrant by today’s qi. Tiger and Rabbit signs have power and money luck and Horse and Snake can join Dragon and Ox signs to can try out new ideas, or travel somewhere new.
Although the Sheep is clashed and could have stomach problems, this is best avoided by eating wisely. Being a metal day natural favours Monkey and Rooster and they can feel vibrant and on top of the world.
As the Ox has a partnership with this month’s Rat sign the Chinese almanac lists most activities as being auspicious making it a great day for that last minutes seasonal bargain or to settle affairs before year end.
